Changes on the GPW Management Board
PRESS RELEASE

  • On 13 June 2017 the GPW Supervisory Board passed a resolution appointing Jarosław Grzywiński to the Management Board of the Warsaw Stock Exchange as Vice President of the Exchange Management Board
  • Pursuant to Article 27(1) of the Act on Trading in Financial Instruments of 29 July 2005, the decision shall take effect subject to the approval of the Polish Financial Supervision Authority (KNF) for the changes to the composition of the Exchange Management Board


Jarosław Grzywiński
Mr Jarosław Grzywiński holds a degree from the Department of Law and Administration, the Department of Law, University of Bayreuth, (LL.M., Germany) and Oxford University (study visit). Member of the District Chamber of Legal Counsels in Warsaw. In 2000-2015 he worked with a number of financial market institutions and law firms in the area of capital market law, M&A law, real estate law, as well as bond law. He participated in the legislative work in the development of commercial company law in Poland. In 2016-2017, Deputy Chairman of the Exchange Supervisory Board and in 2016, Secretary to the Exchange Supervisory Board. In 2016 and 2017 Chairman of the GPW Regulation and Corporate Governance Committee. Since 2017 Chairman of the Supervisory Board of Bondspot S.A. He serves as the Chairman of the Supervisory Board of the Polish Power Exchange, Member of the Board of the Polish National Foundation and Member of the Board of Directors of Aquis, the financial instrument trading platform supervised by the UK financial market regulator. On 15 March 2017 he was delegated by the GPW Supervisory Board to temporarily perform the functions of the President of the GPW Management Board.
