RESPECT Index includes socially responsible companies listed on the WSE Main List which position in ranking classification (calculated based on the Management Board resolution no. 871/2013 as amended) isn’t lower then 150. The social responsibility is understood as a management strategy and approach to the concept of conducting business, which involves building a good and lasting relationship based on mutual understanding and respect expectations of the wider business environment (ie. with all stakeholders: employees, suppliers, customers, community, shareholders and envisaging the care of natural environments). RESPECT Index base date is December 31, 2008. The first value of RESPECT Index was 1000 points. It is an income-based index and thus when it is calculated it accounts for both prices of underlying shares and dividend and pre-emptive rights income.
