Licences and customised indices

Warsaw Stock Exchange indices names are registered trademarks so the issue of a financial instrument including a name of an index in its name requires signing of a licence agreement with GPW.

GPW also offers custom index services.

    General licence

General licence for selected or all GPW indices entitles to use indices covered by the agreement in order to issue, offer and introduce multiple financial instruments to trading on and off the exchange market.

    One-off licence

One-off licence entitles to use an index in order to issue, offer, market and distribute one financial instrument linked to such index.

    Customised indices

DWS Polska Towarzystwo Funduszy Inwestycyjnych S.A. (currently Investors) in co-operation with the Warsaw Stock Exchange started to calculate and publish the stock index DWS MS (DWS Small and Mid-Caps) on 31 March 2003.
