Education
Capital market education, promotion and information are part of the statutory objectives of the Exchange. Education is fundamental to building public confidence in the capital and commodity markets and their institutions.
The mission of the GPW Group is to foster an investment culture while raising awareness of the functioning of the capital and commodity markets in order to encourage Poles to invest their savings on the Exchange based on the highest possible level of professional knowledge.
To amplify the reach and efficiency of their educational initiatives, the GPW Group companies have established the GPW Foundation.
The mission of the GPW Foundation is to develop and adapt the educational offer in the area of the capital market and the stock exchange. The GPW Foundation pursues its statutory objectives by, among other things, delivering training and educational projects for school and university students. The GPW Foundation’s programmes are also addressed to investors and professionals active on the financial market.

The programme is designed to seek talents among Polish students of foreign universities and to encourage them to work in Polish companies and institutions. The programme is open to Polish students and graduates of universities around the world, including students participating in exchange programmes at foreign universities and Polish students from the Polish diaspora. Programme participants gain practical knowledge through participation in internships and workshops at partner companies. Participants have the opportunity to take part in a mentoring programme and a one-week programme of workshops, discussions and meetings with capital market specialists (Go4Poland Summer School), as well as the conference “Your Career – Direction: Poland!”. |
The Online School Exchange Game (SIGG) is addressed to students and teachers of secondary schools and senior students of primary schools (grade 7 and 8). The project aims to build students’ interest in knowledge about the functioning of capital markets, investing and saving. SIGG is an online investment game running on the GPWtr@der platform. Each team has one investment account and a certain amount of virtual money. Through participation in SIGG, students discover in practice how to invest on the stock exchange and understand the risk inherent in investing in financial instruments. |
