The WSE's new building 'Farewell the floor', read the headline to Parkiet's report on the last session in the old building, held on November 16, 2000. 100 million orders, 37 million transactions, and 589 billion zloty was the bottom line of 1944 sessions held since April 16, 1991 on the floor of the Exchange, in a building that once housed Communist party headquarters. In mid 2000, nine years after the first session, the WSE moved to the Exchange Centre on ulica Książęca, the building of which construction began in 1998. The building is very modern, equipped with the most up-to-date technologies. Pictures in this report show the Centre's interiors.
