International Co-operation
The Warsaw Stock Exchange continued its international activities in 2000. For many years, the Exchange has been participating in activities of several international organisations: the International Federation of Stock Exchanges (FIBV) and the Federation of European Securities Exchanges (FESE). By being a member of these organisations, the Exchange benefits from the experience of other markets, as well as brings in its own, contributing to the development of global capital markets standards.

To share information and experience, the Exchange also maintains working contacts with many exchanges, including the Central and Eastern European markets. In 2000, two consultative meetings of the management of 5 exchanges: Budapest, Bratislava, Ljubljana, Prague and Warsaw took place.

The Exchange is also present at many international conferences and exhibitions. In 2000, it participated - among others - in FOW International Derivatives Exhibition in Frankfurt, FIBV Third Emerging Markets Conference and Exhibition in Istanbul and FOW European Derivatives Exhibition in London.
