The Warsaw Stock Exchange (“GPW”, “Company”) informs that on 15 June 2022, on the motion of the State Treasury of the Republic of Poland, a shareholder representing 35.01% of the share capital, the Extraordinary General Meeting of the Warsaw Stock Exchange has adopted a resolution to appoint Mr. Marek Dietl as President of the Exchange Management Board for a new term of office.
According to the statement provided by Mr. Marek Dietl, he does not perform in any form any activities competitive to the WSE, he is not engaged in a competitive company as a partner in a partnership or civil law partnership or a member of an authority of a joint stock company, and he is not engaged in any other competitive legal entity as a member of its authority. Furthermore, Mr. Marek Dietl does not have a record in the Register of Insolvent Debtors operating under the Act on the National Court Register.
Legal basis:
§ 5 (5) of the Regulation of the Minister of Finance of 29 March 2018 on current and periodic information provided by issuers of securities and on conditions under which information required by legal regulations of a third country may be recognized as equivalent.
