The Warsaw Stock Exchange (“Company”, “GPW”) informs that on 5 February 2024, on the motion of the State Treasury, a shareholder representing 35.01% of the share capital of the Company, the Extraordinary General Meeting of the Warsaw Stock Exchange has adopted a resolution to appoint Mr Tomasz Bardziłowski as President of the GPW Management Board.
The aforementioned decision shall enter into force on the date of delivery to the Company of the Polish Financial Supervision Authority decision on its consent for the change on the GPW Management Board.
The Company provides the biographical note of newly appointed President of the Management Board of the Warsaw Stock Exchange as the attachment.
According to the statement provided by Mr Tomasz Bardziłowski he does not perform in any form any activities competitive to the GPW, he is not engaged in a competitive company as a partner in a partnership or civil law partnership or a member of an authority of a joint stock company, and he is not engaged in any other competitive legal entity as a member of its authority. Furthermore, Mr Tomasz Bardziłowski does not have a record in the Register of Insolvent Debtors operating under the Act on the National Court Register.
Legal basis: § 5 (5) of the Regulation of the Minister of Finance of March 29, 2018 regarding current and periodic information provided by issuers of securities and conditions for recognizing as equivalent information required by the laws of a non-member state.
