BondSpot Launches PRIME Segment on Catalyst

PRESS RELEASE

  • BondSpot, a GPW Group company, has opened a PRIME Segment dedicated to debt instruments which meet specific criteria
  • Bonds of 16 issuers are classified in the PRIME Segment in February 2019

On 31 December 2019, BondSpot, a GPW Group company, has classified debt instruments for trading in the PRIME Segment of the Alternative Trading System (ATS) organised by BondSpot on Catalyst.

The Segment includes issues of debt instruments with a par value of at least PLN 100 million or the equivalent in a foreign currency. The Segment also includes debt instruments with an investment grade of a rating agency issued at the request of the issuer and debt for which an ATS Member is a market maker.

The list of debt instruments included in the PRIME Segment is subject to a review and update at the end of each calendar month. The list of debt instruments traded in the PRIME Segment is effective as of the first trading day of the following month.

As at 31 January 2019, BondSpot classified bonds of 16 issuers in the PRIME Segment with a total par value of more than PLN 20.0 billion and EUR 2.35 billion.

The first day of trading of debt instruments in the PRIME Segment is 1 February 2019.
