Conference: ESG Warsaw

The ESG criteria (Environment, Social and Governance) are playing an increasing role in building corporate value and stakeholder relations. That is corroborated by the numbers of investors who consider non-financial factors when building investment portfolios and by the growing numbers of funds engaged in Socially Responsible Investing (SRI). According to estimates, global SRI assets stood at USD 30.7 trillion in 2018, rising 34% compared to 2016 (2018 GSIA figures).

Following the launch of the WIG-ESG index, the Warsaw Stock Exchange is hosting a conference dedicated to the impact of non-financial factors on investors’ decisions (ESG Warsaw) to be held on the Trading Floor on 25 November 2019. The event partners are NN Investment Partners, CFA Society Poland, Erste Securities Polska and the Warsaw Stock Exchange.
