Quarterly changes in indices portfolios
After close of business on June 18, 2010, WSE executed periodic changes in Main Market and NewConnect indexes’ portfolios.
The composition of the WIG20 index remain unchanged. In the mWIG40 index VISTULA has been replaced by ENEA. In the sWIG40 index ORCOGROUP, 06MAGNA, FERRUM, GROCLIN, IZOLACJA and WARIMPEX have been replaced by VISTULA, ALMA, INSTALKRK, INTEGERPL, MIRBUD and 04PRO.
The WIG index covers all companies quoted on the WSE Main List with the exception of companies in a particular market situation (such as bankruptcy, insolvency, qualified for MINUS5 and ALERT LIST segments and the Lower Liquidity Space), while NCIndex includes shares quoted on the NewConnect market. After changes, the WIG index includes 332 companies and NCIndex - 123 companies.
Weightings of companies in all the WSE indexes base on the free float shares with the biggest WIG20 index participants limited to 15%, while the other indexes to 10%.
Indexes’ portfolios effective after December 18, 2009 are available on WSE web sites: www.wse.com.pl and www.newconnect.pl.
