After close of business on March 18, 2011, WSE executed periodic changes in Main Market and NewConnect indices’ portfolios.

In the WIG20 CYFRPLSAT and POLIMEXMS company has be replaced by BOGDANKA and KERNEL. In the mWIG40 index KERNEL, BOGDANKA, MOSTALWAR, GANT and MMPPL have been replaced by CYFRPLSAT, POLIMEXMS, GPW, PULAWY and ASTARTA, and in the sWIG80 PULAWY, ASTARTA, FORTE, KOELNER, INSTALKRK, QUMAKSEK, PAGED, NOWAGALA, MOSTALEXP and GASTELZUR have been replaced by MOSTALWAR, GANT, AGROTON, MMPPL, EFH, CORMAY, MILKILAND, LUBAWA, PBSFINANSE and CALATRAVA.

The WIG index covers all companies quoted on the WSE Main List with the exception of companies in a particular market situation (such as bankruptcy, insolvency, qualified for MINUS5 and ALERT LIST segments and the Lower Liquidity Space), while NCIndex includes shares quoted on the NewConnect market. After changes, the WIG index includes 363 companies and NCIndex - 202 companies.

Weightings of companies in all the WSE indices base on the free float shares with the biggest WIG20 index participants limited to 15%, while the other indices to 10%.
