Market Data Gateway
The Market Data service allows market participants to receive market data via the XDP module (Exchange Data Publisher).
Key features of the XDP module:
- Designed for distribution of large volumes of data with minimum latency;
- Implements a push-based distribution model;
- Distributes market data via a multicast (UDP/IP) using duplicated multicast channels;
- Support retransmission of lost data at the user’s request;
- Provides a market data snapshot (reference date, last transaction price, order book, etc.);
- Compresses data;
- Supports the fault tolerance functionality;
- Transmits data from the trading system and external sources.
