2024-12-19 12:22:31

Shares of Neptis S.A. have been newly listed on the Main Market of the Warsaw Stock Exchange as the company became the 100th issuer to transfer from the alternative market NewConnect to the main market. The Poznań-based company, known for its popular application Yanosik, serves up to three million users every month.

Neptis is the 411th company listed on the Main Market and the ninth new listing on the Main Market in 2024. The stock price rose after the new listing, a symbol not only of the company's success but also the significance of the 100th transfer from NewConnect to the main market of the Warsaw Stock Exchange.

The 100th transition from NewConnect to the GPW Main Market highlights the key role of the alternative market as a springboard to the main trading floor. NewConnect not only enables companies to raise capital but also prepares them to operate in the more challenging environment of a regulated market. We are delighted that another innovative company has decided to grow on to the capital market, best proof that NewConnect is a growth lever for the most ambitious and innovative companies,” said Tomasz Bardziłowski.

Listed on NewConnect since 2014, Neptis has used this time well to build recognition and trust among investors. The past decade has brought tangible results for the company: it generated net revenues of PLN 14.4 million in Q3 2024, an increase of more than 21% year on year. The company's incremental revenue amounts to PLN 42.5 million year to date in 2024, an increase of 9.5% year on year. The number of downloads of the Yanosik application was close to 34 million by the end of September 2024.

We combine functionalities, a loyal community, and Big Data to make the roads safer. We offer much more than information about accidents and traffic jams: from e-vignettes and insurance to vehicle history reports. We reward good driver behaviour and run educational and social campaigns,” said Adam Tychmanowicz, CEO of Neptis S.A.

Since its inception, NewConnect has played a key role in the development of the Polish capital market as a platform for young and dynamically growing companies. The first transition from the alternative market to the GPW Main Market took place in 2008. A record-high number of transfers took place in 2015, with as many as thirteen companies to take the step.

Over the years, more and more companies have matured on NewConnect and moved to the GPW Main Market. The number of transfers has reached record levels in recent years, and all IPOs on GPW in 2022 were transfers from NewConnect. Industries such as gaming, IT, and life sciences prevail among the companies that have transferred to the Main Market. One in three companies took the opportunity to launch a public offering of shares.

The new listing ceremony closed with the presentation of a GPW certificate and a statuette of the stock exchange bull, a symbol of the growth market. Representatives of Neptis S.A. received these from Dr Monika Gorgoń, Member of the Warsaw Stock Exchange Management Board.
