The speakers at KRK’25 include GPW CEO Tomasz Bardziłowski, GPW Vice-President Sławomir Panasiuk, GPW Management Board Member Michał Kobza, as well as Chairwoman of the GPW Supervisory Board Dr Iwona Sroka and Members of the GPW Supervisory Board Katarzyna Szwarc, Wiesław Rozłucki, Piotr Prażmo, Waldemar Markiewicz.
“Joint efforts of capital market institutions in Poland are now particularly needed. It is not only about engagement in the domestic market to attract investors looking for new solutions. It is equally important to act together at EU level to show that we are not just being critical but we are actively seeking common ground. Regional and local capital markets are an important source of funding for innovative small and medium-sized enterprises, which are a pivotal part of the EU economy’s global competitive edge. Strong regional capital markets build a strong European Union as a whole. Our joint commitment matters more than we may think,” said GPW CEO Tomasz Bardziłowski during the opening panel at the Bukowina meeting.
The Capital Market Conference 2025 is an opportunity for a broad debate on the future of financial markets in Europe and Poland’s role in their integration. The conference features nearly 30 debates, presentations and workshops on topics including the development of the IPO market, cooperation between the private equity sector and the stock exchange, financing the energy transition, and ESG challenges. A detailed programme of the event is available on the organiser’s website.
