The 17th SEG Investor Relations Congress of Listed Companies, held on 9–10 June 2026, brought together representatives of public companies, investors, and capital market experts. The Warsaw Stock Exchange (WSE) was a Partner of the Congress and delivered a dedicated workshop for shareholders of listed companies.

The SEG Investor Relations Congress is one of the key events for the community of companies listed on WSE, providing a platform for discussion on regulatory challenges, market trends, and investor relations practices. This year’s edition focused on issues critical to the continued development of the capital market and the quality of communication between companies and investors.

WSE’s involvement was primarily substantive and focused on topics fundamental to the functioning of the market, in particular: the prospects for the development of the public capital market, the impact of national and EU regulations on issuers’ activities, the analysis of market trends and data, investor expectations, and the factors that drive trust, liquidity, and shareholder engagement.

WSE representatives took part in the Congress programme in both panel discussions and workshop sessions:

  • Michał Kobza, Member of the WSE Management Board, participated in the panel discussion “Prospects for the Development of the Public Capital Market”, addressing the future direction of the market as well as its regulatory and operating environment,
  • Beata Tylman-Nowakowska, Deputy Director of the WSE Market Development Department, led the workshop “Investor Expectations in Practice: What Drives Trust, Investment Decisions and Voting at General Meetings”, focusing on the practical aspects of investor relations, including factors influencing investor engagement and decision-making.

- We have seen in recent years a clear increase in the role of the public capital market as a stable pillar of economic financing and an important tool for building credible relationships with investors. In the face of global volatility, Poland is strengthening its position as an attractive and predictable market for capital, which is reflected in the growing engagement of investors, including those from abroad. In the coming years, further diversification of the offering and the development of communication standards and issuer transparency will be key. Regulatory changes both at the national and European Union levels should support high quality investor relations and the building of long term trust in the market - said Michał Kobza, Member of the Management Board of the Warsaw Stock Exchange.

The Congress programme covered a broad range of topics relevant to investor relations teams, including the role of ESG data in raising capital, the importance of market making for liquidity and company valuation, communication in crisis situations, as well as regulatory changes relating to inside information and disclosure obligations.

WSE’s participation in the event underscores the Exchange’s commitment to advancing capital market standards and supporting dialogue between issuers and investors. The Congress also provided an important forum for the exchange of experience and for in-depth analysis of market data in the context of companies’ day-to-day operations, contributing to a better understanding of ongoing processes and the challenges faced by market participants.

The 17th SEG Investor Relations Congress of Listed Companies was organised by the Polish Association of Listed Companies (SEG). The Partners of the event included the Warsaw Stock Exchange (WSE), KDPW Group, BIK, BOŚ Brokerage House, Gide, KGHM Polska Miedź, KMD Legal, and TAILORS Group.
