Registration Opens for the Third Edition of the GPW IPO Academy
The Warsaw Stock Exchange (WSE) has launched the enrolment process for the third edition of the GPW IPO Academy, an educational programme designed for companies considering raising capital through the public market. The programme will commence on 16 October and will feature practical workshops led by capital market experts, preparing participants for a listing on the WSE Main Market, NewConnect, or Catalyst.

The first two editions attracted nearly 70 participants from 54 companies representing 12 Polish regions and a diverse range of industries, including SpaceTech, construction, FinTech, premium retail, energy, and e-commerce. While taking part in the programme, companies sought answers to common questions: how to value a business, how to prepare transaction documentation, and how to communicate effectively with investors. They left with practical knowledge, actionable insights, and a clear roadmap for the next stages of their capital market journey. Some graduates are currently preparing for a listing on the Warsaw Stock Exchange, drawing on the knowledge and experience gained during the programme.
As an increasing number of Polish companies consider raising capital through the public markets, the GPW IPO Academy returns on 16 October in an expanded format. More than 20 capital market professionals, who have participated in the execution of Poland’s largest stock market transactions, will oversee the programme’s substantive content. The curriculum has also been enhanced with a new workshop format combining interactive sessions, case study analyses, and Q&A discussions with industry experts.
The programme will consist of five two-day modules, during which participants will gain insight into all key stages of the IPO process and admission to trading on the Warsaw Stock Exchange. Topics will range from IPO planning and cooperation with advisers, through building an effective equity story and company valuation, to transaction marketing and compliance with legal and regulatory requirements. The curriculum will also cover financial reporting, current and periodic disclosure obligations, ESG considerations, corporate governance best practices, investor relations, and communication with the capital markets. The programme will culminate in a formal graduation ceremony and an alumni networking event.
Applications for the third edition of the GPW IPO Academy are now open. As the number of places is limited, organisers encourage companies interested in raising capital through the public market to submit their applications early. The registration form and detailed information about the programme are available at: https://www.gpw.pl/gpw-ipo-academy.
Partners of the third edition of the programme include GPW Benchmark, Clifford Chance, Gessel, Ipopema Securities, Navigator Brokerage House, Noble Securities, PKO Brokerage Office, PwC, Rymarz Zdort Maruta, Tailors Group, and Wood & Company.
