2026-08-26 15:37:00

GlobalConnect continues to expand its offering of international equities available to Polish investors. On 26 August, SpaceX, the U.S. leader in the space and telecommunications sectors, joined the roster of companies available on the platform, bringing the total number of issuers to 49.

The shares admitted to trading on GlobalConnect were part of the largest IPO in Wall Street history, completed in June 2026 on the Nasdaq Stock Market. The addition of SpaceX enhances the investment opportunities available to Polish investors by providing access to one of the world’s most recognisable technology companies. Erste Brokerage House acted as both the market maker and the introducing broker for the listing.

“GPW continues to expand the GlobalConnect offering with leading international companies and ETF products. Growing investor activity confirms increasing interest in this segment of the market. In July this year, equity turnover reached PLN 22.9 million, compared with PLN 15.6 million in the corresponding period last year,” said Marcin Gruba, Senior Account Manager, Market Development Department at the Warsaw Stock Exchange.

Through transparent trading rules and a market-making mechanism that supports liquidity, GlobalConnect enables investors to diversify their portfolios while fostering the integration of the Polish capital market with international financial markets. SpaceX is the fifth foreign company added to the GlobalConnect offering this year, following Eli Lilly & Co., Micron Technology, Exxon Mobil, and Oracle.

Founded in 2002 by Elon Musk, SpaceX is an American company operating in the space and telecommunications sectors. The company designs and manufactures reusable launch vehicles and spacecraft, while also developing and operating Starlink, a global satellite internet network that represents one of the key pillars of its business.

GlobalConnect is a trading platform operated by the Warsaw Stock Exchange (GPW), providing investors with access to shares of leading international companies. All instruments are quoted and settled in Polish zloty (PLN), enabling investors to gain exposure to global markets without the need to execute transactions on foreign exchanges.
