10
On 3 September 2026, investors on the Catalyst market gained access to bonds issued by Matexi Polska Holding & Finance, a company belonging to the international real estate development group Matexi. This marks the 14th debut on the Catalyst market in 2026.
Matexi Polska Holding & Finance has joined the group of issuers listed on the Catalyst market. The company has introduced bonds with a total value of PLN 105 million to trading on the Warsaw Stock Exchange's Alternative Trading System (ATS). The issuance comprises 105,000 bonds with a nominal value of PLN 1,000 each. The bonds bear a floating interest rate based on WIBOR 6M plus a margin of 4%. Their maturity date is 11 June 2030. The proceeds from the issuance will be used to finance the further development of the Group’s operations. Michael / Ström Brokerage House acted as the authorised adviser for the issuance.
"For years, Catalyst has played an important role in connecting the capital needs of companies with investors’ expectations. For issuers, it is a proven source of growth financing, while for investors, it offers an attractive way to diversify their portfolios. Since the beginning of 2026, we have observed increased activity in this market. We will continue to strengthen its potential by enhancing market liquidity and developing tools that improve transparency," said Dominika Niewiadomska-Siniecka, Member of the Management Board of the Warsaw Stock Exchange.
Catalyst, the largest bond trading platform in Central and Eastern Europe, continues to attract both issuers seeking financing and investors. In the first half of 2026, the total value of bond trading on the market reached PLN 4.84 billion, up 32% year-on-year. During the same period, the number of transactions increased by 5.1% to 97,500.
As highlighted by Zofia Szymońska, Chief Financial Officer and Member of the Management Board of Matexi Polska Holding & Finance, the debut on Catalyst is particularly significant from a financial perspective, although it does not mark the company’s entry into the capital market. Matexi has been using bond financing for many years, and the Series D issuance was another debt securities offering in the company’s history. The three previous issuances have already been fully redeemed.
"The admission of our bonds to public trading is the culmination of the efforts of our entire team and the tremendous commitment of numerous individuals, both on the Matexi side and among our partners and advisers. This is a shared success. The debut also represents a deliberately chosen next milestone in the execution of our financing strategy. It will provide us with greater independence and flexibility in accessing external capital. At the same time, our presence on the capital market increases the transparency of our operations and creates opportunities to build long-term relationships with investors. We are therefore particularly pleased with the interest shown by new financial partners who have chosen to place their trust in Matexi Polska," added Zofia Szymońska, Chief Financial Officer and Member of the Management Board of Matexi Polska Holding & Finance.
Matexi Polska Holding & Finance is part of the Belgian Matexi Group, the largest residential developer in Belgium. The Group has been operating in the Polish market since 2010, developing residential projects primarily in Warsaw and, since 2019, also in Kraków. In recent years, the Group has sold approximately 300 to 400 apartments annually, with the average price per unit exceeding PLN 1 million.
"Matexi’s debut marks the successful completion of an important stage in our cooperation. For more than six years, the company has actively utilised the Polish bond market and has issued debt securities with a total value exceeding PLN 350 million. We are pleased that it is now joining the group of issuers listed on Catalyst and contributing to the development of this market," said Piotr Jankowski, Vice President of Michael / Ström Brokerage House.
