2026-09-17 15:49:00

Investors have gained access to another ETN instrument listed on the WSE Main Market. Swedish company Virtune has introduced a product offering exposure to the cryptocurrency Hyperliquid (HYPE). The market maker for the new ETN is Raiffeisen Bank International AG.

Virtune is a regulated Swedish company specializing in the issuance of digital asset-based Exchange Traded Products (ETPs). Following the listing of the new Virtune Hyperliquid ETP (VIRHYPE) on the WSE Main Market, investors will have access to eight products issued by the company, including six providing exposure to individual cryptocurrencies and two tracking cryptocurrency indices.

‘The debut of another Virtune ETN on the WSE broadens the range of investment opportunities available to exchange-traded investors. This is already the eighth ETN from this issuer listed on the Main Market and the 46th instrument in the ETF, ETC and ETN segment. The growing popularity of this segment and strong investor interest are reflected in market trends. During the first eight months of this year, turnover in ETFs, ETCs and ETNs was 137% higher than a year earlier and reached a record PLN 4.52 billion, exceeding by 36% the turnover recorded throughout the whole of 2025,’ said Michał Kobza, Member of the Management Board of the Warsaw Stock Exchange.

Hyperliquid is a blockchain whose native token, HYPE, is used, among other things, for the payment of fees, participation in governance processes, and supporting liquidity and activity on the trading platform. Assets under management in the Virtune Hyperliquid ETP amount to approximately USD 1.6 million (as of 16 September 2026). The instrument is physically backed by the underlying HYPE cryptocurrency. The annual management fee is 0.95%.

‘We are delighted to expand our offering on the Warsaw Stock Exchange with the Virtune Hyperliquid ETP. Hyperliquid is a decentralized trading platform built to enable global, round-the-clock trading across a growing range of assets. HYPE is the platform’s own digital token and sits at the centre of its ecosystem. One of its distinguishing features is that part of the trading fees generated on the platform is used to purchase HYPE and permanently remove it from circulation. We believe this combination of growing platform activity and a well-designed economic model makes the Virtune Hyperliquid ETP a timely addition to our offering for Polish investors’ – podkreślił Christopher Kock, prezes zarządu Virtune.

Exchange Traded Products (ETPs), including ETNs, ETFs and ETCs, are listed on the WSE Main Market and GlobalConnect, enabling investors to gain exposure to a variety of asset classes within a regulated market environment. These products are characterized by a transparent structure, continuous exchange pricing and accessibility through brokerage accounts.
