Bakalland na on the WSE

On the trading session on 11 December 2006 Bakalland Company made its debut on the main market of the WSE. 10,000,000 shares of the A series, 7,915,769 shares of the B series and 2,500,000 allotment certificates for the shares of the E series were introduced to trading. Bakalland is the 31st company debuting on the Exchange this year. Currently there are 277 companies listed on the WSE. The Company was qualified to “trade” sector.

WSE President Ludwik Sobolewski, before he welcomed the representatives and the staff-members of Bakalland Company, informed about the BBC World Television news, broadcasted on December 8, 2006, in which the Warsaw Exchange was described as one of the speediest growing markets in Europe. Debut of the 31st Company on the Exchange is the proof of a good condition of the market.

During the Event the Bakalland Company was represented by:
- Marian Owerko – President of Bakalland SA
- Artur Ungier – Vice-President of Bakalland SA
- Jacek Lewandowski – President of IPOPEMA Securities
- Mariusz Piskorski – Vice-President IPOPEMA Securities, which was the Offerer of shares in the IPO process.

Prezes Sobolewski introduced also special guests, invited for today’s event: representatives of the Polish volleyball team, which during the last FIFV World Championships in Japan won the silver medal - Paweł Zagumny the best setter in the world and Piotr Boruch team manger. The guests had the opportunity to get a photograph and a volley ball with their autographs.

Bakalland – basic information
Bakalland- previously Uno Fresco Tradex Sp. z o.o. - is a leader of domestic dried fruits market. It is present on the Polish market since 1991. Bakalland brand is a range of dried fruits such as: raisins, apricots, Californian prunes, figs, dates, pears, peaches, apples and desiccated coconut; nuts, such as hazelnut, walnut, pistachios; as well as seeds: sunflower and pumpkin. In brand offer are also popular seeds for cakes and canned fruits

Following the registration of the E serie sof shares in Court the shareholders which posess 5% and
more of the voting rights are:

– Anvik Hildings Ltd. 7.915.769 shares, 37.69% share capital and 38.77% shares encompassed by the application
– Marian Owerko 2.961.500 shares, 14.10% share capital and 14.51% shares encompassed by the application
– Artur Ungier 1.367.500 shares, 6.51% share capital and 6.70% shares encompassed by the application
– Krzysztof Marciniak* 1.044.500 shares, 4.97 % share capital and 5.12% shares encompassed by the application
– Elżbieta Marciniak* 1.044.500 shares, 4.97 % share capital and 5.12% shares encompassed by the application
*Mr And Mrs Marciniak, following the registration of new issue of the E series in the Court will posses less than 5% of voting rights.

IPO results
The Issuer offered 2,500,000 shares of the E series, and the shareholders 2,800,000 shares of the A series with the sell price equaling the issue price i.e. PLN 7.5. The allocation took place on December 1, 2006. The Issuer raised capital amounted to PLN 18.75 million.
