Warsaw Stock Exchange Indices Reach for the Stars!

The WIG index set a new all-time high, closing at 138,732.27 points, up 2.3%.​

The WIG20 gained 1.7% and surpassed the 3,700-point mark, reaching its highest level in over 18 years.

The mWIG40 index also hit a new record, closing at 9,701.42 points, rising by 2.4%.

Trading turnover was also strong, exceeding PLN 3.0 billion for the session.

Since the beginning of the year, the main indices of the Warsaw Stock Exchange have increased by:

  • WIG: +18.3%
  • WIG20: +16.6%
  • mWIG40: +18.6%
  • sWIG80: +6.4%

GPW shares are also at record levels! The price has reached PLN 86.55, marking a year-to-date increase of 33.2%.
