Investors have taken up 1 million bonds with a total value of PLN 1 billion in the offering. The issue price was PLN 1,000 with a margin of 130 basis points above WIBOR6M. The bonds mature on 30 June 2030.

“Allegro Group’s new listing on the bond market is a sign of trust in the Polish market and proof that the Warsaw Stock Exchange remains the key venue to raise capital for companies which want to grow despite macroeconomic challenges. Allegro Group’s shares have been available on the Main Market for nearly five years. Today’s new listing shows that the Polish capital market is maturing along with the ambitions of entrepreneurs,” said Tomasz Bardziłowski, President of the Management Board of the Warsaw Stock Exchange.

This is Allegro’s first-ever bond issue. Its success has exceeded our expectations. We have placed bonds worth PLN 1 billion, twice as much as we planned, with demand exceeding PLN 2.7 billion. The margin confirms our stable financial condition and proves the market’s confidence in Allegro’s prospects and ambitious plans. This is also a step towards diversifying our sources of financing. The domestic bond market has grown significantly in recent years, and we hope that our issue will further support this trend. Access to capital in Poland is key for the development of local businesses. The Warsaw Stock Exchange is always our market of first choice. The value chain built by Allegro over the last 25 years generates nearly 1% of Poland’s GDP. We hope that its scale will continue to grow while supporting our domestic stock exchange,” said Marcin Kuśmierz, CEO of Allegro.

The Allegro Group is a leading e-commerce player in Poland and the region.
