PGE Group is a vertically integrated energy entity operating across the entire electricity value chain. It is one of the largest players in Poland's power sector. The Group's main activities include lignite mining, electricity generation from fossil fuels (lignite, hard coal, natural gas) and renewable sources (hydroelectric plants, wind farms, biomass), electricity distribution and retail sales to end customers. The Group also engages in wholesale trading of electricity, gas, CO2 emission allowances and certificates of origin, provides system services for energy supply security, and operates in the heat sector and circular economy area. The Group has a diversified generation mix based on both conventional fuels and renewable energy sources.
