Subject: Execution of a letter of intent concerning the preparation of
an experimental application of gene therapy for Huntington's diseaseLegal
basis: Article 17_1_ of MAR - inside informationThe
Management Board of multiQure S.A., with its registered office in
Wrocław _the "Company" or the "Issuer"_, hereby announces that on
September 28, 2026, the Company, Mazowiecki Szpital Bródnowski sp. z
o.o., with its registered office in Warsaw _the "Hospital"_, and
Professor Mirosław Ząbek, MD, PhD _the "Professor"_, executed a letter
of intent _the "Letter of Intent"_ concerning the commencement of
cooperation aimed at preparing for the experimental application, in
patients suffering from Huntington's disease, of a gene therapy being
developed by the Company _the "Therapy"_.Pursuant to
the Letter of Intent, the parties intend to cooperate in particular in:
1_ preparing the project documentation, including the documentation
required to obtain an opinion from the relevant bioethics committee and
any other necessary approvals and permits; 2_ assessing and preparing
the infrastructure and medical team necessary for the safe
implementation of the project; and 3_ agreeing the terms of an agreement
setting out, in particular, the parties' respective duties and
responsibilities, financing arrangements, and rights to the results and
data.The project contemplates the preparation of an experimental
application of the Therapy at the Hospital and under the direction of
the Professor. The final legal framework of the project will be
determined in accordance with the final regulatory classification of the
Therapy.The Letter of Intent reflects the parties' intention to
cooperate and, except for the expressly identified provisions, in
particular those concerning confidentiality, is non-binding. The
commencement of operational cooperation by the parties, including
activities related to patient qualification or the application of the
Therapy, requires the execution of a separate agreement and the
obtaining of the required opinions, approvals and permits.In the
opinion of the Management Board, the execution of the Letter of Intent
is of material significance to the development of the multiQure project,
as it formalises the intention to cooperate with the Professor and the
Hospital, which has the infrastructure and neurosurgical team necessary
to prepare the procedure for the experimental application of the Therapy.As
stated in the Letter of Intent, the Professor has for many years
participated in the performance of neurosurgical procedures and medical
experiments, including projects involving innovative gene therapies, and
has experience in preparing and performing procedures requiring the
precise administration of medicinal products directly into structures of
the central nervous system. Prof. Ząbek was one of the key neurosurgeons
in uniQure's AMT-130 Huntington's disease clinical program and performed
the surgical administration of the gene therapy in the European Phase
Ib/II trial. The Hospital has clinical infrastructure, organisational
resources and a medical team enabling it to perform neurosurgical
procedures and provide care to patients suffering from neurodegenerative
diseases.In the opinion of the Management Board, the formal
declaration of the intention to cooperate with the Professor and the
Hospital increases the likelihood of carrying out further activities
leading to the application of the Therapy in humans, which would
constitute a key milestone in the development of the multiQure project.Where
appropriate, the Issuer will announce the execution of the definitive
agreement in a separate current report.
